WORKOUT#4 - TABATA (8 ROUNDS - 20 sec ON/10sec REST)
A “Tabata” is 8 x 20 second work intervals with rest periods of ten seconds between each work set. The idea is to work as hard as possible during for 20 seconds and then rest completely for 10. After each Tabata is completed, do as many reps of the paired core exercise in one minute followed by a 45 second plank.
1. Plyo lunge + Toe touches
2. Sprinting on the spot + Bicycles
3. Jumping jacks + Jackknifes
4. Squat jumps + Russian twists
5. Spark plugs + Supermans
Don’t forget your warm down stretches.
